High School Survival Guide

Alright soo, I'm sure every is stoked to be going back to school in the upcoming months, not! Anywayy, weather your and upcoming freshmen, or just going to another grade, these tips will be a lifesaver.

Lets first start with the clothe.
  • Have ed least 5 pairs of jeans, that pretty much what your going to be wearing for the next 4 or so years, unless you like to dress up a lot. Have a range a styles from skinny to flare and different washes so it adds some variety to your wardrobe.
  • 4-5 basic tee shirts. Doesn't matter if it has logo or not, but these are going to be a life saver if you wake up or just don't want to wake up. You just throw one of these on and a pair of jeans and there you go, an outfit. Just don't make this a everyday thing, it gets boring.
  • 2 button downs. These are for the days you want to look put together and nice, or have a nice dinner to go to. I've been seeing plaid button downs around lately, and I can't wait to get one.
  • 3 polos. Just a basic.
  • 1 zipper down jacket. This is so you can wear a tanktop, just put the jacket over it.
  • 2 sweaters. A cute way to be warm during the winter months.
  • Something other than jeans. Just to mix it up a bit.
  • Underwear. It set off the whole outfit.

Face/Makeup

  • Keep it basic, if your like me and have to wake up at 5:30 for school, the last thing you want to do is put on a face full of makeup.
  • What I mean by basic is foundation, concealer (if needed), eye liner, mascara, and some lip gloss.
  • A good skincare product is a must.
  • A good undereye bag cream. This is a only if you need it thing. I have undereye bags and you can't even imagine how bad they are after little sleep.

Hair

  • If you need it, invest in a good hair straightner. It seems like every girl uses one of these. Also use a good heat protectant spray so it dosnt damage your hair.
  • A brush, enough said.
  • Dry shampoo. Its a lifesaver if you wake up late. Just spray it on, run a bursh through your hair, and it will no longer be greasy or anything.

Good luck, and if I'm missing any thing, feel free to state that in the comments section.

  1. That's a pretty good list. I would include a few things though:
A dress or two. They're great to throw on and have a complete, well put together outfit.
A crocheted beret, so if you don't feel like doing your hair (guilty for half my high school career!) you can just throw it on and look good.
A tote bag to keep all your supplies. You'll be living out of your purse for the entire school year, make sure it's functional enough to carry everything you need.

As for a name, how about "Hall Way Run Way?" Or something like that:)
